Preparation turns a field trip into a pathway. Use these steps to ensure your students get the most out of their time at the Expo.
- Set Clear Expectations: Attendance is about discovery and movement, not just proximity to exhibits.
- Complete Student Registration: Ensure all attending students are registered in the ACCAP system beforehand.
- Define Pathways: Encourage students to identify at least two career or education pathways they want to investigate.
- Draft an Expo Game Plan: Help students list specific exhibitors they want to visit or questions they want to ask.
- Prepare for Professional Conversations: Practice simple introductions and inquiries for students to use with exhibitors.
